This Level 2 Reading and Writing Bible Guide is a unique education and discipleship program that studies the Bible stories of The Golden Children's Bible© and related Diving Deeper topics in the NIV© Bible, both cover to cover in a three-year plan.

Benefits of combining a cover-to-cover study of God's Word two ways:  

The study of God's Word cover-to-cover, both verse by verse of the stories and passages and also topically, will provide a thorough understanding of God's Word.  Reading The Golden Children's Bible entirely, cover-to-cover will allow students to understand many of the main stories and passages of the 66 books of history, law, poetry, prophets, letters, and prophecy, especially in sequence.  It also allows for a study of each portion of Scripture in its context.  The Diving Deeper in Related Topics' topical study, which surveys the Scriptures that address topics related to The Golden Children's Bible passage, will show the continuity of what God says about that topic and in the light of the new covenant under Christ.  If God's Word stays consistent in its message throughout the 1,600-year span that the Bible was written (and also in its thousands of years of recorded history), then He is the same God today as He was yesterday, His Word is relevant and true, God can be trusted, and we have access to His promises and power to do even greater things today.

General Layout for Weekly Lessons:

• 1/3 of The Golden Children's Bible© is divided into 35 weekly lessons:  approximately 5 pages of reading for each + vocabulary + about 10 comprehension and discussion questions, both short answer and long answer

• Diving Deeper in Related Topics:  2-3 topics relating to the passage in The Golden Children's Bible© with fill-in-the-blanks, tables, Scripture copying, short answer, and outlining

• Journal It! for self-reflection questions and prayer

• Some charts, apologetics, and church history

• About 45 minutes 3-4 times per week- THE GREATEST INVESTMENT OF YOUR TIME, IMPARTING WISDOM AND PLANTING SEEDS
