The Early Foundations Level program (of 4 levels total) is a 36-week language arts and discipleship program that can be tailored to the needs of all your preschoolers and kindergarteners. It includes workbooks, flashcards, a complete Bible guide, journaling pages, and visuals that may be used for children approximately ages three to six. These tools will meet the students at their level and help them with the skills needed to progress in their reading and writing, focusing on letters, numbers, shapes, colors, long and short vowel sounds, basic special sounds (phonics letter teams), and common words.

Our Bible guide and other discipleship tools lead students through an age-appropriate literature guide of both the stories in The Beginner’s Bible®, which will be read cover-to-cover every year, and 36 selected Early Foundations Scriptures, which coordinate with the letter or color of the week. This program also helps children develop a quiet time with God by journaling their prayers and reflections on the Word of God.

The teacher or parent evaluates each child’s current mastery of concepts and chooses one of three paths to take to help the child grow in reading, writing, and discipleship. Because this program's lessons are designed in a synchronized manner for all three paths, it aims to effectively simplify the preparation and instruction process for teachers and/or parents, especially while teaching students at differing levels. Most importantly, this is all while providing a solid, rich discipleship program.

Workbook(s) at necessary level:
1. Early Foundations Year 1 Workbook (ages 3-4): for students with no background experience
2. Early Foundations Year 2 Workbook (ages 4-5): for students who have completed Year 1 and/or can recognize most uppercase letters, numbers 1-10, basic shapes, and basic colors and trace uppercase letters
3. Early Foundations Year 3 Workbook and Early Foundations Year 3 Teacher’s Manual (ages 5-6): for students who have completed Years 1 and 2 or can recognize almost ALL uppercase and/or lowercase letters, numbers 1-20, basic shapes, and basic colors and recognizes almost all phonetic sounds of the letters of the alphabet (may use along with Year 2 workbook if these basics are not mastered 100%)
