The Early Foundations Year 2 Workbook is recommended for four to five-year-olds who have completed the Early Foundations Year 1 Workbook.  Otherwise, this may be used for students who can already recognize almost all of the uppercase letters, numbers 1-10, basic colors, and shapes and write these items and his/her name in uppercase letters on paper.  This workbook builds upon Year 1’s concepts with greater practice with the recognition of lowercase letters, numbers 1 through 20, shapes, common words, and items beginning with each letter’s phonetic sound.  Math concepts including counting to 20 and writing them are also included. Fine motor skills will be developed through writing on smaller 3-lined paper.  Our Reading and Writing Through the Bible Early Foundations level aims to provide a cohesive language arts and discipleship program for your preschoolers and kindergarteners. This workbook works well with our language arts and math flashcards to encourage mastery of the identification and memorization of the key concepts. The letter and color of the week in our workbooks are also incorporated into our Early Foundations discipleship resources, including the Bible Guide, Early Foundations Scriptures (visuals), Early Foundations Scriptures Coloring Pages, and Early Foundations Copywork.
