The Early Foundations Year 3 Workbook is recommended for five to six-year-olds who have completed the Early Foundations Year 2 Workbook.  Otherwise, this may be used for children who can recognize almost all of the uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers 1-20, basic colors, and basic shapes.  Students should be able to trace all of these as well on 3-lined paper and write their name with one uppercase and the remaining letters lowercase.  This workbook provides lessons in reading, spelling, and writing words with short and long vowel sounds, phonetic teams, and common words along with basic lessons in grammar.  Weekly word family lists and stories are included for reading practice utilizing all their accumulative knowledge.  This is the Early Foundations Year 3 Workbook, which is designed as a student manual.  The Early Foundations Year 3 Teacher’s Manual (separate) provides a key and dictation notes to be used alongside this workbook.Our Reading and Writing Through the Bible Early Foundations level aims to provide a cohesive language arts and discipleship program for your preschoolers and kindergarteners.
